Account

  • Register on the site’s registration page. Buyer approval is described as almost instant in the FAQ.
  • You may be asked for documents later for due diligence; personal email sign-ups may require proof of ID.
  • No membership fee for buyers; you pay the order total shown, with no hidden buyer fees on product purchases per the FAQ.

Shop and categories

The shop groups products into top-level categories (product families) and subcategories. Use navigation and search to move from broad areas (for example Machinery & Fluid) down to the exact product type you need. See Categories and coverage for how the tree is organized.

Simple vs variable products

  • A simple product is one buyable line: one price, one stock signal, one set of core specs.
  • A variable product is a parent page that groups variations—separate purchasable rows (different sizes, grades, lengths, and other SKU-defining combinations). You always choose one variation to buy, not an abstract “parent.”
Understanding that split helps when you compare several lines or read lead time per variation.

Compare and Watchlist

Use Compare to put listings side by side on specifications that matter for your decision. Use Watchlist to save items while you check budget, class rules, or internal approvals. Both live on the main website alongside the shop.

Inquiries

Where the product or workflow supports it, Inquiries offer a quote-style path instead of immediate checkout—useful when you need formal offers or clarifications before committing.

Vendors directory

The public Vendors page lists participating suppliers. You can use it to understand who stands behind a storefront and to explore their published assortment.
Next: Shop, compare, and inquire. For fees, payment methods, shipping rules, and support in one place, the For buyers overview on Platform is still the short reference.
